Endometrin Product Indications
Progesterone vaginal insert is indicated to support embryo implantation and early pregnancy. It is approved for women with infertility and corpus luteum insufficiency as part of an assisted reproductive technology (ART).
Endometrin Dosage and Administration
- 100mg administered vaginally 2-3 times daily starting the day after oocyte retrieval and continuing for up to 10 weeks total duration.
Endometrin Warnings, Side Effects and Potential Drug Interactions
- Common side effects: breast pain and enlargement, abdominal pain/cramps, decreased sexual drive, headache, depression, nervousness, nausea, bloating, dizziness/drowsiness.
- Do not use with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, history of blood clots, liver disease, known or suspected malignancy of the breast.
Endometrin Storage
Store at controlled room temperature, (20-25C/68-77F); excursions permitted between 15-30C/59-86F.
